He doesn't seem to really know that he's smaller than average and doesn't really acknowledge that he hasn't had much experience (only one person besides me). I think if he had a better understanding of the female body and the need to hit the right spots it would be different.
4.5 inches should be plenty long enough if you know what you're doing, but it requires technique. In fairness to my boyfriend, I was a virgin before I met him and I am extremely tight, so that's probably part of the problem. I don't think the size is a big problem, although it does make some positions I want to try impossible.

The average woman's vaginal canal is only four inches long. So as long as you have a good girth you'll be fine.
