I am a Dutch girl (very tall people) and am 6ft tall. I like my height now, but it's taken me YEARS to get to this point. As a girl, you easily feel unfeminine and insecure about your height. But getting to the point; plenty of guys are shorter than me but there are two types of shorter men; 1. guys who show their embarrassment and act insecure2. guys who just don't care and show confidence and pride of who they are.And you know what? When you meet a guy in the second category, you don't really notice he's shorter! I used to know a guy almost a head shorter than me, but he was so confident and cool that every time someone mentioned his height, I thought 'oh yeah, he is much shorter than me, I forgot!'. Shoes etc. can help you out, but please remember we will always want what we don't have, they trick is being satisfied with what you have.

There are leg lengthening procedures, but they are incredibly painful, require the utmost dedication to doctors instructions and physical therapy, you are confined to a wheelchair for at least a year, and you only gain 2-3 inches in height. There are support websites available for individuals such as yourself. I noticed a few when I searched for info on leg elongation surgery. Finally, I recently saw an episode of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' where Dog explained that he wore boots with a heel to give himself extra height (he's only 5'7"). Additionally, he mentioned that he styled his hair so that he would look even taller. With the boots and crazy hair, he looks to be about 6 feet tall which is 5 extra inches without any drastic and painful surgery. I don't know if I can recommend the hair-style, but wearing boots or lifts and perhaps gelling your hair so it sticks up spiky-like could give you the appearance of being 3-4 inches taller.

I believe at 22 you have reached your full adult height. Obviously, there are things such as shoes, inner soles, lifts etc. Your worries may be down to yourself though and not anyone else. You have a lot of advantages that you should be happy about. Leg room in cars, cinemas, planes, trains, clothing sizes, shoe sizes, door ways, subway height etc. All this is perfect for you. Don't be worried about what others might think. There are many guys around 5 feet to 5 feet 6 and there really is not a difference. However, if you think there is, then that is why you worry. Think how blessed you are.

Heels. Either external as in boots.. or LIFTS inside your shoes...
to actually grow taller... well yes it can be done but it's only done for children who are below standard height and it's very intensive and painful and takes years and the kids only gain a few inches so that they might make it to yoru current height... or even below.
The thing is this there are lots of TINY women. I'm 5'2 now. My bf is 5'7" and he's PERFECT height for me... a man 5'4" would be a good height too... I've dated men that are very tall (6'4" or taller) and I just don't fit as well with them.

As a short American (now 5' 4"), I have rarely thought very much about it. I'm an older man now (63), but used to be 5' 5-1/2". People DO "shrink" with age.
For me, there were always short women available, however, two previous wives and several girlfriends were taller. No one complained. You can purchase elevator shoes if it bothers you, but other than extreme and questionable surgery, you cannot increase physical height.

You can't. Height is genetically determined. Put extra thick soles in your shoes to appear taller, and always walk with your back straight, that gives you "extra" height.

You can't make yourself physically taller, but why do you want to be?
I love petit girls. I am 5 foot 7 and would hate to be taller. I'm scared of heights for one and the toilet seat is a big enough target as it is.
You need to learn to become happy with yourself.

i don't think you can as at 22 you will have grown to your full height now. i suppose all you can do is to wear shoes and sneakers which have a thicker sole and maybe style your hair in a spiked up style. this will make you look taller. also make sure your posture is correct, stand up straight so you 'walk tall'
you must have things about yourself that you love? just concentrate more on them and think positively about yourself because your height is really the one thing that you cannot change
