There are a few STD's that transfer through blood as well. Such as HIV and Hepatitis B. Herpes can be caught from kissing. Usually though you'd know if you had an STD like those ones as you will get very sick from it. Although Herpes can stay hidden for a while before it shows. And Herpes is not treatable.

Yes. Of course you can. Both of you.
Anyone can get an STD without having sex. So being a virgin is not warranty. The better option is getting medical exams and checking them mutually.

This is one of those questions that's iffy relying on advice from internet strangers. I know at your age telling you to ask your doctor is probably not all that appealing, but ...
The previous answer is correct. Even if a person has never engaged in any sexual activity of any kind, they can still have been exposed to infections that can be transmitted sexually. Herpes in one example - if he has a cold sore, that can give you genital herpes. Another example is if you picked up something from your mother at birth.

But, some STDs aren't neccessarily transmitted through sex. Some can be transmitted through birth, just playing in the dirt as a kid, or touching other people and family members.
What you have to be careful about is oral herpes or cold sores on the mouth. You can get those as a kids and they can flare up when you are a teenager. Most often oral herpes stay on the mouth, but they can be transfered from the mouth to the genitals:

Wait to get an STD test if you can. In the meantime, use cling wrap/dental dam.
