Your feeling guilty in breaking up with your boyfriend because he wont let you go....and thats always hard.If you really mean it and you want to end this relationship then you will have to be strong and say to your boyfriend that you want to end it and that you have made your mind up.Then you walk away....you dont email him or txt him if he contacts you...because you will end up back to square one again and that will only make things worse.

You must do what is right for you. If you want to break up and start afresh then you must. Whilst it is important to take other people's feelings into accout I think this would be one of those situations were you just have to look after number one.
There is no need for you to be nasty, just tell him face to face how you are feeling and tell him you want to break up. Stick to your guns if this is what you truely want and don't be swayed by promises to change or tears as a few weeks down the road you will have the same feelings and breaking up will be even harder for you to do then.
