writes:Can having really rough sex while pregnant harm my baby? My boyfriend was rough last night to the point where he made me bleed. It only lasted a few minutes then stopped but im 5 and a half months pregnant and this has worried me. Its my first pregnancy and i feel fine in myself today. Im jus t really worried and dont know who else to go to. Thanks for reading x

I totally agree (Battista) 100% You should get checked out. And your boyfriend should have his head examined also. Sex during pregnancy, usually is not a problem. However, as you get further along things do get delicate. If he can not tame himself, maybe he should be restricted to the inflatables until you deliver.

You don't know who else to go to? How about your GP or midwife?I think you should definitely get checked out by a medical professional here. Bleeding during pregnancy should really be investigated. If nothing else they can advise you on whether you are likely to damage the baby by doing what you're doing. This isn't the place to ask for obstetric advice really. Better to be safe than sorry.
