A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ok, so...

I got with my bf at the beginning of the year and we've just split up now.. so we were together around 3 months. I was his first proper girlfriend... He never used to call me, or text me and everyime we met up I had to go down see him.. he never came to mine.

When we broke up (on the interent of all places) he said he didnt like opening up to people etc, and that the girl should just *click* onto his life. he said it wan't the same. So I said fine, what do we do? and we are taking a break. BUt, I don't know if this means I'm single, or still taken.. or if he said *take a break* to *spare* my feelings. HE also said * we can't never not get back together*

The thing is... we've split a week ago, and yet no one knows we're not together(or whatever) . It's just.. I really liked him.. and got attatched emotionally. There's a part of me wanting him back. And it's like digging the knife in explaining we're not together any more.

Can someone justify or translate this behaviour?

What's the best thing to do?

thank you

Kai xxx
