writes:I've know this guy for a longtime. I really love him but we have never been bf gf though he treats me like it when we are out together. He is ALWAYS making really sexual remarks. However, nothing actually happens even if I let him know I'm interested. He says he doesn't have a gf and treats me like one in front of his friends and family. So, if it's not a girl and hopefully not a guy then what could be the problem. he meets girls all the time so he doesn't need his ego stroked. He's always saying things to try to impress me and sometimes acts like he's scared of me. He also always tells me he loves. Problem also is he seems to spend alot more time with other friends than me which kinda hurts. Can a grown man whose had a ton of girls and women be this weird? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (25 January 2009): Guys dont change we just get older, lol. He obviously really likes you , probably loves you, but either is not ready for that "plunge" or maybe you need to tell him flat out, "hey dufus, I really like you and want you to be my man" or something along those lines. Even though you let him know you are interested, guys need it spelled out for them most of the time. I'm breaking the guy code on this one so i'm remaining anonymous.
