She didnt take birthcontrol because she was told that being over weight there was less chance to get pregnant.I'm guessing they used condoms most of the time I hope. At the same time she was having problems with her boyfriend relationship wise. What I'm wondering is if a girl can subconsciencly want to get pregnant to trap a boyfriend?

I agree with "A women who does not want a baby knows exactly what to do to prevent pregnancy."

Her boyfriend is flirty with other girls and cheated on her about 3 months ago - had sex with another girl.I think the 'accident' wasn't an accident because she always seemed to say 'He's mine! Nobody else will split us up because we love each other' I suspected it wasn't all hunky dorey and now she's pregnant and he's still flity/cheating. Getting pregnant doesn't really solve anything because she probably thinks hes trapped now, but she still lets him get away with the cheating.

Unless of course your contraceptives fail, and when used properly they are verrrry effective. A women who does not want a baby knows exactly what to do to prevent pregnancy.

I totally believe it from what I've seen of my friends & co-workers & stuff.
When it comes to accidental pregnancies, I swear they happen more often when the relationship is coming apart than when it's still working. And usually when the guy is pulling away.
