Broke it off with this great guy due to distance...did I do the right thing?

Well were do I start, im 16 years old, was going out with my boyfriend for 6 months. I broke up with him because he lives a good bit away from me, you have to know one thing about him tho, he sooo quiet, but i liked that as he wasnt a jerk like alot of fellas i know, he was dead on, sweet, ever since i cant get him out of my head, i think i love him. when i told him that i wanted to break up cause i felt we never really got to see each other, he said yea louise i feel the same way! but i cant take when were in the same room, i need to just go kiss him, help i really dont know what to do! do i love him? wbxo

Hi, I had a long distance relationship once, i was to so in love, but the seeing each other only once a month became to much, neither would move closer to be with each other so we ended, i could not cope for weeks, but believe me it will get easier !! hope this helps

aphexinfinite agony auntyou are young , but in the same sense if you feel you that way about him then distance shouldnt matter much as long as you get to see each other and are both willing to commit to it, it is a serious thing as it mean more hard work on both parts, talk to him about it it takes to to tango and if he aint willing then it means its over .. hope this helps hun xxxxx
