A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

When i was 15 i was very mature for my age but i wasn't the best looking girl in the world. I mean i wasn't ugly but i wasn't gorgeous like some on the girls in my school. I was tall for my age and most of the boys that i stupidly fell for where really small when next to me. I didn't finish them because of their sizes though i finished them because i didn't like them let alone love them! i mean i was 15 how was i to know wat love was? Then i met my sister- in- laws brother and i knew that i wanted to be with him but my brother and his girlfriend (wife to be) insisted that it was "imbred" to be together! I was like it can't be, i love him.

4 years later and i still hadn't got over him (we will call him Josh for the story) It was obvious that he was completely over me! i was having this on off relationship with a lovely guy called Calvin but it wasnt love, just the casual sex every now and then. It was good dont get me wrong but he wasnt josh and i didnt know what to do, i was confused and scared. My brother and his now wife are very happy and they have a child called Nancy but i still think that could have been my child with josh. I later regretted my decision for not chasing him while he liked me.

So yeah you might think this story has no meaning but the moral of the story is just go with your heart and not with what people think. You only live once so please enjoy your life and dont take it for granted!

A female reader, oooh United Kingdom +, writes (5 September 2010):

everyone has something special about them, you could be ugly to millions of people but theres always going to be someone who thinks your amazingly gorgeous. that guy clearly wasnt the right one for you, he may mean alot to you but in his eyes its different. feelings arnt mutual, which kind of helps in relationships. your better off without him hun.
