A male United States age 36-40, *elgamer writes:

Hello everyone! So, my wife is pregnant. We are trying to choose a boys name that would mean "miracle" as if this child is born, it truely would be because of the high chances of a misscarriage happening. We have a girl name already, but yeah... anywho, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Our list so far is

Aiden (warm, little fire)

Omar (First Born son)

Reuben (Behold, a son)

Nathan (Gift of God)

After my wife & I lost our firstborn to birth complications, we used "Nathan" for our next child (a son). I am a little disappointed that he started going by "Nate" when he was in High School - you might consider that your kid may prefer to have a less unusual name as he/she gets older.

I believe there's a name of Spanish (or perhaps Italian) origin that's something like "resurrection", but I couldn't find it.

Tisha-1 agony auntThere's a webtool I found for you at this link. You type in the meaning and it comes back with names in all kinds of languages. It's fun!

Here are some suggested from the word "gift":

Cedro, Dervin or Dervon, Donatello, Donzel, Doren, Elon, Ewen, Gifford, Jonathan, Kedrick, Matthew, Shey, Ted, Zane, just a few on the list.

I think you are christian.I had a very complicated pregnancy as well.If you don't mind I would like to share a prayer with you.Me and my husband prayed this through out the nine months and we still pray a variant of it for all our friends and family too.

"Lord Jesus Christ by strength in your merits and in the sprinkling of your most precious blood from the top of our baby's head to the very soles of our baby's feet,we claim total and complete protection for his heart, body, life and soul.

Let not any harm befall our baby through sickness, accident, disease and calamities.Bless the baby with good health, wisdom,(add anything else you need).Bless the mother's womb.Make it strong for the baby.We give up both the mother and baby in your precious hands.Let not a single speck of evil touch them.

Cleanse all our sins and shortcomings that stand in the way of our prayer.Amen."
