Im not ugly at all, normal weight, popular... (if that matters?) He always flirts with me, sends me winks and hearts on msn and always looks at me in class. He also always seems to sit beside me alot lately.At the dance tonight, he kept looking at me and then asked me to dance the 3rd song (like 5 minute long song) and I said sure. He kept moving in and all that(he blushed and smiled). The 5th song, I asked him and he said no thanks, sorry. Then maybe 20 minutes later, he tries to grind with me? He said he likes me and I like him but seriously, he says he likes other people too. I really don't know what to think. He danced with this other girl, but kept staring at me the entire time. He also sat with her too and didnt take his eyes off me. I don't know what hes doing, or why he's doing it? Please help![mod note: poster came up with title]

maybe he is confused, boys often are.
i think that you should ask him about it. not directly, but just see what he does.
if he likes you as much as he says then why dont you guys go out?
maybe there he will be more open because your alone.
maybe you should ask him in the face what the hell he is doing. even though i dont think this will really work it might be worth a try.
my advice is to try going out.if he is still acting weird, then i would ask him in the face
