But its also a works trip tomoro night which i desperately want to go to!! the works trip involves a free coach to a club in the next city, free entrance into the club, and free coach back. i would give my right arm to go as its a one-off trip and all my work friends are going but ive already agreed to go out with uni friends but i really dont want to go because it is to a club they all know i hate, and to be honest i really really REALLY want to go to the works trip.what can i do? If your not going to see them during the summer i guess you will have to either follow DV1s advice or meet up with them the next day and maybe hang out all day together, get lunch and recover from your hangovers!

Do both... Get together early, then leave at the end of the night. Stop by long enough to finish a soda, then give everyone a hug, and tell them you'll call them.

Just go to your work trip as its a One-Off. Plus its FREE!
You can just tell your friends you will get together with them another time as you have the entire summer to spend time with them and go places you like to go. Good luck choosing

Hey Anonymous,
If this the work trip is a one time thing and you'd rather do that, then by all means I think you should go. You can get together and go to another club (one that you actually like) another day. Your friends may be disappointed, but it's not like if you don't go then they can't still go out.
Take care.
