princess-gold-digger agony auntIt really depends what the arguments are about...i dunno me and a best mate i had tended to argue over silly little things, and they ended up gettin worst due to other so-called friends getting envolved, does it tend to be just you two together or is there another friend envolved? or are either you or your friend getting closer to over friends?

David Lewis agony auntWell it is important that you can still voice your own opinions without fear of upsetting your friend.

Maybe she has issues at home or elsewhere, this tends to cause people to lash out at those closest.

Just try to value your friendship and talk about your differences rather than arguing.

We all do it, so don't feel isolated.

best of luck

A female reader, Phoebe Halliwell United Kingdom +, writes (5 August 2006):

Phoebe Halliwell agony auntHey,

I think the reason why you start bickering with each other is either that you have different opions on things or that you are getting so exactly like each-other. Me and my gran work the same way. We are very alike but drive each-other up the wall because of it. I think every time you feel yourself rising and getting fustrated and finding yourself starting to bicker - say to yourself that she's your best friend and quitely count to ten. If you're less wound up, the bickering will stop and the flame of fustration will go out.

Hope this helped,

Phoebe
