People say I'm ok looking (get asked out a lot by guys) but I'm kind of introverted and focused on my studies etc haha so never had a boyfriend before. However I realised recently that I might be into girls too. Not sure if I am or not and how to come out to my friends if I am. Everyone sees me as some kind of prude and sometimes bisexual or lesbian girls get labelled as dirty in certain circles or even by older people. I work full time and a lot of the people in my workplace for instance seem really conservative. I don't have any close female friends who aren't straight but I want to try stuff like going to a lesbian bar or something, idk. On the other hand I'm not sure if something like joining a local group for bi/lesbian women would be too much of a "sexual" environment where everyone just wants to hook up.Advice on how to go about this? I want to explore without pressure..

Go places and explore. There's a lot of same sex bars and clubs, go there and see how it goes. When you're in places that encourage the idea of certain things, you tend to feel more comfortable. By doing that, you'll be able to understand yourself more and make friends that you could even explore with

Yes, get yourself to a lesbian bar! They aren't completely "hook-up"y, you can just hang out and have a beer and see who you meet. Sit at the counter and talk to the barmaid or something.
Otherwise you could get yourself onto an online dating thing and see if you can meet some girls who can show you around the LGBT scene in your town. It's really more about the community rather than hooking up with everyone.
