SirenaBlusera agony auntI felt the same way I'd feel if I had a brother his age.

You'd (hopefully) never feel attraction for a sibling of the opposite gender. I was close to him in the same way I would be close to a sibling. For all practical purposes, he was like my brother. I didn't have the same blood as he did but that's arbitrary.

Unfortunately, we've lost touch. It really sucks... I hope your friendship lasts... :(

person12345 agony auntYes and no. I don't think it's possible for the curiosity of what could be to never go through their minds. But often times once that curiosity is satisfied or they become close, the attraction goes away.

janniepeg agony auntThis is an interesting question, because I thought about that a lot.

But as people grow up and gain more experience, we will find out there are many factors which influence what we would do with people. These factors are sex drive, chemistry, life experience, loneliness, hapiness, confidence, socialability.

Any answer to this question is possible, but I would say that the older you get, the more possible to be friends with anyone. A lot of the times people fall for anyone because they just need the experience of a love relationship, or just need to get laid.

SirenaBlusera agony auntSure!!

I don't think that attractive has anything to do with it, because that's a subjective word.

One of my best friends from college, for example. I know he wasn't attracted to me (my friend was gay) and I thought of him as a brother I never had. I think he was a nice-looking guy but I never felt sexually attracted to him... I loved him like a brother.
