A male reader, Kenj United Kingdom +, writes (5 August 2010):

Kenj agony auntNo dont tell her, you have to let her find out herself. If you tell her she may end up resenting you. Just be there for her if and when it all goes wrong.

You cant 100% rely on friends of friends giving you the correct information, some guys say there not interested when they really are I have done it myself in the past.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (5 August 2010):

If she keeps asking you, then yes, you shouldn't LIE to her, but you shouldn't tell her he said "HELL NO"! You should say it in a nicer way, make something up, that he doesn't want a relationship right now, or whatever. You should be aware to that she might want to "shoot the messanger" so to say. Or possibly not even believe you?

Best to just not bring it up at all though.
