reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2006): hey i no exactly how u feel i really liked this lad for ages but i left it 2 late nd hes now goin wit a really gd friend of mine, me friend didnt no dat i liked him nd iam not sure dat he did either but i really regret not lettin him now for ill never no if he liked me bac, i really liked him and lik u was really upset wen i found out about him nd me friend. i no it wud probaly b really hard but i fink u shud let ur best mate no how u feel for nothins worse than never knowin how things might ave turned out-trust me! hope everythin turns out better 4 ya!

You sound mature, thoughtful and sensible and I think you realize you need to look out for yourself, emotionally. At times like this, self-care and self-love is vital.  you know i had a problem simalr to that, it was a really good friend of mine and he liked my friend! i was so mad! but we were talking and i told him i liked him, i was so scared and thought it would reck or friendship and he didnt say anything, and i thought that i wrecked it but he called me and said that he liked me and yea i was so happy so i personaly think that u should tell him, but it might be awarkard so then i think you should give it a try. hoped it helped
