reader, anonymous, writes (15 September 2006): I'm pretty sure it's nerves. My mum also has a similar problem, she's had it for years, when she's nervous before something she needs to randomly go to the toilet.(number 2). I wouldnt worry x

 I am not a doctor yet, but I highly doubt you have a medical problem. I had a similar problem a while back. I would have to go before sex, but even if I went to the bathroom before sex, I'd have to go like a couple minutes into it. It was horrible and embarrassing! It became a joke between me and my partner. For me it ended up being nerves. I didn't feel nervous or think I was, I actually really enjoyed it. Mine went away with an increase in communication. We would talk to each other and help each other focus on making the other feel good, and after a couple weeks I never had to go to the bathroom during sex again! I'd be willing to bet your sexual partner is somewhat new! Just give it time and communicate with each other. Good Luck and no worries!
