Although I think you're quite young to be having sex, I won't push my beliefs on you here.
You say that he asked you to have sex with him? Do YOU want to?
The fact that you think sex would change things between you two tells me that you're not quite comfortable with the idea yet. Is there a reason you think it would change things? You've known him for 2 years now so is there something that makes you think he'd leave you after you have sex with him?
I think you need to decide what YOU want...and not what he's asking for. How would you feel if you were to have sex with him and he left you shortly thereafter? If you would be devastated, then don't have sex...you're not ready.
I think that you should be able to trust him a lot more and be confident that sex will not change your relationship before you sleep with him.
