writes: I am a 20 year old female. I have been with my boyfriend for nearly 5 years and I love him, he might be the one. My problem? My best friend is a girl and I have fallen for her. I never considered myself bi until now. What do I do? I asked my boyfriend for a break to sort out my feelings. My best friend is a lesbian and no I am not just curious or infatuated with her. I do not want to destroy my relationship with my boyfriend. This problem is destroying me inside and I do not know what to do! Please help

that's a really tough situation. a lot of girls go though this when they hit your age. it's pretty common, so you're not alone. i think you've done the right thing. you asked for a break to sort your feelings out. you're not cheating on him, and not necessarily jumping into something with someone else.
he may be the one, you're right. but you also may decide you prefer women when it's all said and done. that's honestly something you need to explore before you fully decide to make a life-long commitment to a man and hurt him further down the road.
