I just made a very bad attempt at a do it yourself bikini line kit and now feeling the side effects -didnt even work . I was wondering if the pain is really worth it? Does anyone actually find waxing off your pubes attractive? Is there any other alternatives but waxing? (shavings pretty bad)

Cause im abit stuck in what to do with mine lol and i dont want another bad waxing episode.

Ugh, yeah that can be pretty bad. I'm not a big fan of dipilatory creams, I've gotten a very bad rash (almost like a burn) from Nair "down there." I was verging on tears it hurt so bad. However, I don't think I really used it the way I should have, regardless I'm never using it again.

I don't think shaving is too bad as long as you use a good razor, like the Venus or Quatro and some good shaving cream. And using just a regular body lotion helps tremendously if you start getting irritation the next few days.

If you really want a wax THAT bad in the nether-regions. I would save my money and go to a professional. Maybe you can get some recommendations from friends or family if they've done it. But since you're young, you might need your mother's or father's approval. Waxing either way is going to be painful, the root is so thick and ouch, there's no way going around it. Doing it yourself usually doesn't have very good results.

nair for the bikini area... they have different ones for sensitive skin etc... this is a cream that you leave on for a set time and then wipe off. If you have sensitive skin use the gentle formula.. they are not the only brand out there but that is the one I use... but, if you just waxed wait a couple of days before you use anything there as the skin may still be irritated.

I hate shaving, and i tried to wax a tiny part on my leg once... screw that. Now I only get my eyebrows done.. wax don't go down there.
