Should I be offended if my bf chooses to go in on a b.day gift with his sister instead of with me for one of his parents? I asked him first and he said he wanted to ask his sister first. We've been dating over a year and are in a serious relationship.

I ended up worrying over nothing. He asked his sister in front of me what she got their mom and then made suggestions for us on what to get her. And she even suggested us going in together on something.

It turned out fine. We did end up going in on a gift.

I think he probably went with his sister because he and his sister will know more about what their parents will like. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
