A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have been with my husband for 17 years. I have known my brother in law for that time. He is also married for the last 4 years. all I do is think of him. He is married I haven't told him and probably never will. I love my husband and respect him. I don't know what to do to stop thinking of my brother in law. Sometimes the way he looks at me or says I feel like he feels something or he can tell how I feel.(my brother in law) at first I thought it would go away but it's been four years to long. I used to not like him because of the way he acted but now it's different.

I think we are animals... If a mother procreates a few likeminded sons they are likely to be attracted to the same kind of woman. I dated a guy who had an identical twin and I found out that the twin and I were pretty attracted to eachother. We never did anything out of respect for the rightous brother... but nature sure does some nasty things to us (in our dreams). Don't ever act on those things----out of respect... of course.

Males and females are "animals" with exotic feeling that we have no power over.

--Hold on---Wait---I'll say it again----in a different way---

Humans are animals that have exotic feelings and we have no control over it!!!! Our Dreams are ubove us.

I am not suprised that you have an attraction to him (and vise versa).

In nature, there are certain types of female Mothers that procreate twin or brother boys. They fight over the same kind of female. Be careful- you must not stray. Be loyal.

If it is too late ... I don't know what to say....

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

Over 4 year ago I Began doing home loans were he worked. It made us spend more time together. About 2-3 times he invited me to eat lunch or dinner. One day as we were leaving the restaurant I extended my hand to shake it his hand and say by and he pulled me toward him and hugged me. He would also make comments like how he likes how I am so independent and don't depend on my husband. He also talek to me about his personal life. I no longer work with him when I talk to him he seems to understand me more and gives me advice. Sometimes I try to not go over to his house nut I need to visit my in lnlaws who live with him and his wife. I have the habit of shaking peoples hand when I see them but I feel that our hand shake seems longer than any other. And sometimes I feel like he stares at me to much. I don't feel I'm lacking anything from my husband. I'm just confused and don't know what to do. I have had this feeling for 4 years.

How long have you felt this way?

What brought about the change in how you feel about him?

What do you feel is lacking in your relationship with his brother that you seem to find in his brother?
