writes: Im 16, completely in love with a guy ten years older then me, we meerly discused this and both brushed it off but i cant him of my damn mind. we are great friends but when he gets a girlfriend or even has a female complimenting him i get pissed off. cant get him off my mind. dont get with guys my own age, and dont see this age thing as a huge problem but the town would. small town. . .and plenty already dislike me because im a bit different. . .. i know he really wants to be with a girl and hes told me many times how attractive etc i am and says he thinks about me sometimes, except niether of us have taken it any further. hes a major flirt and makes me feel really happy when we call each otha r see each other on the street and hang out etc etc. I cant get over him though i havent gotten with him. .. .im not a bad looking girl so its not like i cant have other guys, and hes not paticuarly amazing... .this has been going on about 11 months now. i have nowhere else to turn, help!!!

This is unusual in that there are often girls your age asking about older guys putting pressure on them .. this guy is different in that he is very obviously standing back. You say he's a major flirt, he sounds like he would make a move if he wanted to .. sorry. Maybe he does like you but you're just not his type? I think you need to get past him in your life.
