writes: This is a sequel of sorts to this question, read this first just to get a feel of my situation: http://www.dearcupid.org/question/should-i-let-this-crush-just-die-the.htmlI've decided that I want to take the plunge and ask this girl at work out. Only problem is this pretty much is the first time I'm asking out a girl ever and it's also a bit difficult since work is the only way I see her ever. I want to ask her out as soon as I can, but it's difficult since I feel uncomfortable asking her out in the lifeguard break room when there's always the chance other people will be around and it'll be REALLY awkward and humiliating if she says no in that atmosphere. If I have no other option, I'd just ask there but the build-up to possibly doing this is nerve-wracking. Can anyone give me advice on asking a girl out in the work atmosphere?

HI
I really would re-concider asking this girl out, going out with someone you work with will complicate things, if it dont work out your working life will be hell for both of you, and you would not be able to endure work this way. However if you really have made up your mind and theres no turning back, why dont you ask if you could have a private word with her away from prying ears, then once alone ask her would she like to go out for a drink with you sometime, that way if she says yes then you know she likes you too, so then if the date goes well you could then ask her out :)
