Question - (12 August 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 12 August 2008)
A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I thought my best guy friend fancied me.. he went to kiss me a few times (proper kisses) in the bar and all through the summer i developed feelings for him.

as my feelings got stronger he got more distant (he is bisexual)

We went out last weekend and he went with a guy and a girl in front of me ..i was very upset. He also tried to go with most of my mates apart from me.. He acted like some sort of animal that has no morals..

should I move on? I don't think I could ever go out with him now after the way he acted in the bar?

honeyross agony auntIt seems as if he's exploring his sexuality and is not ready to settle down with one person.

He probably became more distant after you showed how you felt because he wants to protect both you and himself from a potentially inevitable let-down.

In my opinion - don't get too serious about him. By the looks of things this is not really what you want from a partner. You might be able to / want to become just his friend at a later stage.
