Question - (1 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 1 March 2009)
A male United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Dated a girl for two years. I find she seeing someone else, I walk away say ok. I respect you , I respect your decision, good luck with it. 14 month ago !

I had strong feelings for her, and I'm not a kid, we all work in the same building.

I thought well maybe we can at least be friends, after all I'm willing to be civil say hi etc, and in reality, it should be me that has the problem, but I'm better than that,. The other guy is a player.

Anyway throughout the year she has been very very odd with me not at all behaving like a person who has made any right choices.

Played games with me etc and I know I've played along.

I'm aware that all is not well between them, may have even ended but haven't asked questions. You just sense.

This year I decided I was playing any games, iv even made a ban on myself to avoid walking past her office using different stairs etc, I really have disappeared now form her life, previously I would have done the opposite..

A couple of times she has done things to get a reaction banged office equipment when I'm talking to other women, hung round in the car park trying to catch my eye, I ignored her. This is a new way of being simply because at no point has she allowed me to be her friend.

The latest incident almost makes me want to put my head in may hands and shout "what do you want from me !?!

I found myself walking near her office , the door was open, but unless you pop your head in you wouldn't see anyone. I though I hope she doesn't come out, but then I thought I haven't been near for weeks and I'm only passing for a milly second, so not much chance.

Suddenly from another office a male colleague walks out and calls my name says hi, I reply, ask how he is etc, very short conversation.

Guess what happens next.. As if by magic! She appears ! Glances and walks up some near by stairs ( I would have gone up too)., I didn't follow I went a different way...

What is going on with this girl? What does she want from me ? Why has she not allowed me simply be her friend over these past months, I get the impression she doesn't want me I the friend zone ? How do ideal with her on a daily basis ! Help !
