But he had told the manager and so when the manager got us, he said we were having sex. We were NOT having sex and i tried to explain that to the cop but he wasnt trying to listen. So all he did was write me and my boyfriend's names down and asked us to leave. So im just asking, what happens now? Do i get fined or given a ticket? Am i banned from that theater? The two of you each paid for (seat) tickets in that theater. You didn't do anything that encroached on the seats around you..... (I'm assuming that you didn't moan or scream, during the act!).... So, who's to say that you can't return (to that theater) whenever you darn well please.... for a movie that doesn't interest you and B/F... and you and he can make out as thoroughly as you wish???
(My Sister approved this answer... assuming that your feet didn't block anyone's view (line-of-sight) to see the movie....)
good luck...

Probably not, but why would you want to go back there? Im sure there are others with enough chairs so you don't have to sit on your bf lap again :)

I think they will just have it in their notes at the database, so of your name pops up again they might give you a fine. But for now, sounds like you got off with a warning. But what do I know, you're of age so I do not see why they'd involve your parents. If you were to pay something or were banned from the theater, you most certainly would have been told so.

I'm questioning the age of the OP as well.
My guess is, your parents will get a phone-call (I HOPE they will at least) and then you will have to go from there. I don't think you are banned if you weren't SPECIFICALLY told so.
While I get the whole "making out" in the dark of a cinema, it's not really appropriate and CAN be construed as "Public lewdness" which refers to indecent or obscene behavior in public. Had you stayed in your own seat, it probably wouldn't have gone so far as it did.
And there is NO way the employee told you it was OK to do it, if he then turned to his boss and tattled on you. Come on!
Sounds to me like you two got off with a warning. And be glad for that. The FINES for "Public Lewdness" can typically reach $1,000. Or community Service. If, let's say a FAMILY with kids were in there and the parents of the kids got their panties in a twist over your behavior, some states even charge people with Public Lewdness- and THAT can be up to 12 months, depending on just how "lewd" it was.
So what you did was not as innocent as you think. Specially in the USA where a nip-slip is OH so shocking! If you want to fool around with your BF, do it in private, OK?

Really, that's not appropriate behavior for a movie theater. I don't go to movies to watch some girl sitting on a guys lap with her tongue jammed down his throat. Have a little respect for others. Hopefully you were in the back row at least.
That out of the way, you probably aren't banned and I doubt you'll get in trouble. But I wouldn't repeat the behavior.

Correction: if you *weren’t* cited at the time

I’m guessing that they wanted to teach you a lesson. They also wanted a record of you causing a disturbance at the theater so that if you caused a problem again, they could ban you.
If you were cited at the time it’s probably just a warning.
I expect if you follow the theater’s rules of conduct from now on, you’ll be allowed back in.
How old are you two, anyway? This sounds like a question from a younger teen.
