Are we a couple? How can I be more aggressive in moving our relationship forward?

A male Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I started at university this past fall, and I'm having a great time. What is especially exciting is that I am "out" at university and have even started "seeing" someone. He asked me out and we've gone out a couple of times the past few weeks and we see each other quite frequently. I'm kind of the shy type, especially around people I really like, and I've never dated so I'm not really sure how this all works. Are we a couple? How can I be more aggressive in moving our relationship forward?

Dear Poster

I don't think you must try to be different; just be yourself. No don't make the mistake of trying to push this guy or the relationship. Take it easy step by step. Let him be the hunter. Be a little mysterious and let him want to move the relationship forward.

Best wishes and keep SMILING
