I knew it was thrush at first because all the symptoms were there and it smelt yeasty, but sometimes i get it and it doesn't smell and it's lumpier and there's more of it. Also the skin in that area sort of splits or wears away and i end up really sore and i sting/burn. Is this still thrush or am i showing symptoms of something more serious? I would go see your doctor if you are worried about this as he can tell you what it is and give you something for it.
I know thrush treatments can be brought over the counter but I still feel if it keep returning then worth seeing your doctor for peace of mind and you may find that your boyfriend maybe a carrier of it and not getting any symtoms as alot of men just carry it unaware if this is the case he will need to see his doctor or purchase something for it.
Good luck :o)
