reader, anonymous, writes (20 October 2007): Other signs include: tickling and poking you, shoving her feet in your face, and farting, and burping, and unfortunately, also tell you about really gross things like her dogs sniffing her because of her period... Ah, gross. [sighs]
Other less obvious signs: if she tells you some personal things, if she goes out with you one on one in public and private, if she goes drinking with you - possibly a sign she trusts that you won't do anything to her, and constant smiles and knowing eye contact are good signs too. Also if you two sit across from each other, if she talks and brushes her hand over yours in a friendly flirty manner, then that's a sign of comfort. Laughing with you... Mhm...

 Yes as you say the smiling is a good one, and she will open up and be chatty with you. He posture will be that of an open one and her body will point in your direction. Look out for eye contact too, if she is comfortable with you she will look you in the eyes.
