My parents even said they'd let me get them and go with me etc.I've been searching them up though, and apparently, they have a really high rejection rate? And they're only 'temporary'?But I keep getting mixed messages, because one website says that, and another says if you get a piercer with a lot of experience and the right jewellery and technique, it won't reject. And that you can keep them forever? But I usually sleep on my stomach or sides, and I've heard that even years later after they've healed, if you knock them slightly, they get knocked out of place and start to reject? Can someone help clear this up for me? I'm so confused. Are they a good idea? Do they reject really easily? Are they only temporary?

Having a good piercer, proper jewelery, caring for the piercing, and being extra careful not to get the piercing caught on anything may prolong the life of the piercing...but more often than not your body will eventually reject it.
You could always get it pierced again though.
Lastly, you are still young and your body is still growing which can increase the chance of rejection.
