After my last breakup I have shyed away from dating for this reason. I KNOW that there will be some guys who would rather date a girl who is in better shape. I am currently doing all the right things to lose the weight and wonder if I should wait to date till I slim down to avoid rejection. Are a few extra pounds a big deal for guys?

Some meat on the bones is not a bad thing... My gf is "overweight" but I really don't think she is.. she looks great the way she is.. and of course everyone else does as well.. I wouldn't worry much..

You shouldn't lose weight just to get a good relationship. Good relation ships come from the heart and not the eyes. Take me for example I'm about thirty pounds overwieght also but my latest girlfriend was Short and skinny, but she loved me because of who I am. I'm not going to lie, Guys are definatly different than girls, but most want just one thing (Not what your thinking) they want a nice girl who will love them for who they are also. And if a guy doesn't like you because you're not like *Haris Pilton* then who cares? He wasn't the one for you. And when you find the right guy And you lose some weight That'll just give him more reasons to love you even more.

It depends on the guy. Some guys might thing you too thin for their taste even with an extra 30 lbs. No matter what stage your body is in, be happy and confident that you look great. Inner strength and confidence is very sexy in a woman and irresistable...so I'm told ;) Good luck!
