There is a theory that men ejaculate sooner when they're worried about lasting longer, and that men worry about lasting longer when they are with someone they love and care about a lot because they want to make it special - there is also a theory that as you both get used to ine another and anxieties ebb away, sex will bcome naturally easier to last longer as there will be fewer expectations.
However, if you've been open about this and it isnt too much of a concern for you, he may still feel thst he is doing you an injustice by cuming too soon so he may still feel anxious even if you've said it ok - this site may be of some use:
