I'm not sure I am ready for either, but am kinda interested in not using a condom. (We were both "firsts" for each other, so I am not really worried about STDs.) Are there any other girls out there who have only had anal and stayed with that awhile, or is my bf right???

Some women can only reach orgasm through anal stimulation. The taboo factor makes for a more exciting sex life as well. Bottom line, don't fret. If your boyfriend isn't down for having anal only, then you might consider finding someone that is. Disatisfaction in your sex life can make a relationship sink faster than the Titanic.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2010): Yes, I find it extremely weird. I'm not against anal, I actually enjoy it a lot myself. But I just don't understand you, or kids your age. This generation (I'm 21) especially girls, are just hopeless. I mean, I've heard of girls having oral sex exclusively after the age of 15. Oral sex to them is performing it on the guy and not getting it/not wanting it in return. It's weird because finally women in their 20s+ are opening up to sex and learning that women should love/demand oral sex just like the guys. They are learning that they should want sex more for their pleasure FIRST. They are finally putting their needs before the guy. We're not living in the past any more where girls used to shy away from their own pleasure, and made it all about the guy. And then you hear about today's generation, and what they've been up to. I think parents/society at large is at fault. They put so much pressure on younger girls to not have sex, or treat sex like a plague, which leaves them wide open (so to speak :p) to manipulation from young boys. They try and manipulate these girls into thinking that sure vag sex is nasty and shouldn't be done until you're 18+, but anal sex is OK!! Because everyone is doing it. In the end girls start thinking that it was actually their own idea not their bfs or the peer pressure from their friends from school. I'm not against it. But I'm against the absurd idea of "exclusive" anal sex. Preserving "virginity". Parents also need to sit down and talk to girls about oral sex, it's still sex. And it isn't STD free either. You CAN get AIDS/gnorrhea from it. Don't let your partner/peer pressure you (my friends are doing it which makes it A OK for me to do it!) Or do it because you love your bf, and it's okay because everyone your age is having exclusive anal sex. Why pre-teens/barely teenagers have anal sex? To preserve their "virginity". How fucking stupid is that? Pregnancy scares can be sorted out with pills or condoms. That's what everyone's doing. Most condoms these days are 99% reliable. You can also have condom breaking accidents while having anal sex, and before you know it some of it can get in contact with the vaginal fluid. If you're scared about getting pregnant this much that you only ever want anal, then I suggest stop having sex all together. If not, then be sensible and get on the pill.It is perfectly fine to have vaginal sex at 16, but don't be a stupid fool and rationalise having exclusive anal by thinking that it isn't really sex, and you aren't ready for normal sex. Yes, you are ready for it because you're already having sex and doing something A LOT more taboo than vaginal sex. Don't listen to those religious weirdos that rationalise anal sex like that. Anal sex is amazing, but so is vaginal/oral sex. I've had anal and vaginal sex with my bf for almost 2 years now and used condoms for both the first year then got on the pill and have been doing both without condoms for almost a year now. BF definitely prefers vaginal to anal without condom because the vagina is a lot more hotter, but we both like the naughtiness/dirtyness of anal. And guess what? I'm not pregnant yet!! Never had any pregnancy scares either.

I had anal first too (but just once) because it hurt when we tried for usual sex and I wanted to make my bf happy. God, I didn't know what I was missing out until I tried normal sex! It was like fireworks.. 100 times better than anal for sure. What's funny is that my bf enjoys vaginal sex MUCH more than anal because slit is a lot more hotter and wetter, and tighter from the inside as opposed to anal which is tighter on the butthole area, but not as tight inside. So the head gets stimulated when fully inside. I was a virgin before him as well. Anyway, if you've been with him for this long you should give vaginal sex a try. Usually people go for vaginal sex first and then anal. And usually people only have anal with someone that they really trust. How can you trust your guy and feel ready for anal but not vaginal? I find it extremely odd. I also find it really odd the way the youth is rationalising their way of thinking these days.. Oh, it's not sex, and I'm still a virgin if I have anal. Nothing can be far from the truth! You are no longer a virgin if you have anal. It's called anal sex for a reason, you know!
