writes:Hi Everyone! I've been with my boyfriend for a year now, its a long distance relationship. He lives in the US and im in the UK. Im currently in the USA with him for 3 months before i return home (then in 3 months he will be coming to the UK for a visit). We had a big talk and i decided to give up my job last august because ive been travelling back and forth the US 3x. He came and stayed with me and my family for xmas. Therefore i have no income and my boyfriend is fine with this because he wants us to be together, so he has been supporting us (hes in the military).We've discussed a future together, and its kind of been decided that I will move to the US. Im looking to see if anybody on here has moved overseas to be with their partner (especially the US) and if so, can they give me some info about it. What im going to need to do? How am i going to go about getting work etc?I appreciate you reading my story and any feedback is welcome!Thanks!
