We complete everything in July. Now, we have an emergency and need 3500. Neither of us can get a loan since this would disqualify us. I have asked friends and one friend was kind enough to lend me $700. But what to do about the rest? Can someone please advise me?

Sell stuff you don't need like TV car jewellery etc. Do some cash in hand work at the weekend like gardening or dog walking. Re-negotiate the price of the place you're buying. Good luck

There are sites like gofundme and crowdrise that people use to raise funds. Talk to your mortgage broker about your options.
Sell one of your vehicles (or is that what the emergency is?). Sell high value jewelry or other high value possessions, such as furniture.
Financial gurus would tell you not to do this but you could take money out of your 401 k. But it will cost you longterm.
Perhaps delay purchasing the home until you have dealt with the cash emergency.
Negotiate with the entity that requires $3500 and ask to pay it over time, give them the $700 and the debt will be $2800.
Put it on a credit card and pay it off over time.
Talk to a financial advisor, for a small outlay of cash, for advise on how to tweak your current finances to rustle up the $2800 you need.
Look back over your tax returns, take them to a popular tax preparation service which can sometimes find more money owed you.
Look through the “found money” sites that many states have, where money owed to you somehow hasn’t found its way to you.
Do all of the above and you may just rustle up that $2800.
