reader, anonymous, writes (21 February 2006): It's more than likely that she is simply off work and not thinking about work. I don't think it's about the age... she's probably telling her friends that there is a lad at work texting her.... just send her a message wishing her a happy birthday..... if she writes back - it's all good and if not - well maybe she is just very busy at the moment. When she is back in work - catch up on a friendly basis - don't come on to strong, but just let her know that you have been thinking about her while she was off. You may simply find that she had no credit on her phone!
