I hold their hand, carress her shoulders, play with her hair, hold their waist, literally don't let go. Is this normal for a man? Isn't this needy? I do feel as so. Have I possibly been mothered too much so I feel that I need to always be close to a woman?? Do you other "men" do this? Lol. Thank you. Reply to this Question Share |

my husband is a snuggler... a cuddler... and it's one of the things that drew me to him... he has a low sex drive but I get cuddled and kissed every day... and i love it.
he was NOT mothered too much if anything he had no mother to speak of so I would not blame it on that.
it's just your personality....

Well, "est modus in rebus", or , everything in moderation, without excess.
I like a physically demonstrative, affectionate man, I don't think that a man who wants to sleep spooning is less manly of one who just rolls over after sex and snores in his half of the bed.
But, it depends, there is something like too much of a good thing. If you are one of those human octopuses that just can't move a step outside without holding hands, or hang to her for dear life ALL the time you are together, making it difficult even taking a bathroom break- then, yes, it's not endearing, it's annoying.

I have trouble sleeping sometimes when someone is cuddling with me... and I'm always changing positions. As long as your partner isn't aggravated by it, I don't see it as a problem. If it is, just try and tone it down a bit, or try and get a body pillow. I do this thing where I always have my feet touching his. I take my left leg (the one always nearest to him) and put it over his. He doesn't even seem to notice, maybe you could try that.
