reader, anonymous, writes (21 August 2006): I would say you are no longer a virgin. "Popping your cherry" is just slang for having sex with a virgin - it doesn't necessarily mean that physically any thing is being popped.Sexual intercourse is defined as being "Sexual union between a male and a female involving insertion of the penis into the vagina" (hetrosexual) or "Sexual union between humans involving genital contact other than vaginal penetration by the penis." (homosexual)Virginity is defined as "The state of being pure, unsullied, or untouched."

I would say that homosexually you are not a virgin if you had penetrative anal sex with another guy, but if you haven't had heterosexual penetrative sex with a girl then you are 'heterosexually' a virgin. Whatever the situation is technically speaking, I think it is more about how you feel about all this at the end of the day especially in terms of your sexuality - gay, heterosexual, bisexual, undecided or whatever else it happens to be.

Hello James, well if you say that you had "sex" then I would be inclined to believe you are not a virgin but as someone has rightly mentioned I suppose what we need to establish is what type of sex because I guess some would say that for a stright couple, if they engaged in oral sex, and not penetrative they would still be virgins, but in my view if you are saying you had sex, then I guess you are no longer a virgin but you need to clarify a bit more. xXx

Ah.
I just noticed your post as male.
Sorry about that.
Well, as that is the homosexual means of "sex."
Then I would say you are not a virgin.
You went as far as you could with another male.

Perhaps you don't know the definition of a virgin?
"4 a : a person who has not had sexual intercourse"
Perhaps you meant to type, oral sex? Or the like.
In which I case I would still consider you a virgin.
But some people would still consider that a breaking of chastit and make you, in turn, not a virgin.
Hope I helped.

The definition of a virgin is someone who has not had intercourse, so if you have - then you are not a virgin. I would think that homosexual sex would still apply to the rules...you participated in a sexual act, correct?

Can you specify what did you two exactly do? I think that the rule is that if he put his penis inside you, you are not, if you did something else with mouth and hands only, then you are still technically a virgin.
