writes:Ok there is this guy in work I have a huge crush on but Im too shy to speak to him. Im a shy person anyway but around people I like I completely clam up. Anyway, anytime Im around him I constantly catch him staring at me. Ive actually made a point of not looking at him lately because I dont want him to think Im weird, but I still can see him out of the corner of my eye looking at me. We've been out socially together (work things) a few times, but he has never come up to me directly and spoken to me, he only comes over when Im in a group. Oh and hes not a shy person, hes really outgoing. But yet anytime I look in his direction hes looking at me!!! Whats going on with him, do you think hes interested or am I just making up stories in my head?

reader, anonymous, writes (13 November 2009): All I can say is, it sounds like exactly what is going on with me, even down to the fact you have made a point of not looking at him. The girl in my case is doing the same. I thought that meant she wasn't interested, but maybe not, if that's what you're doing.
I am married and that's what stops me going any further - so far. But I would crumble if she made the first move. Bet your guy would too.

There is probably something that is stopping him from making a move, but it will not be lack of interest. You just have to go for it! Or ask a friend to do it for you!
