I think I have a problem with being in a relationship with boys......when were friends everything is fine, but everything gets messed up when they go beyond just friends and tell me that they like me and want to be my boyfriend,for some reason no matter how much I like them as a friend I can never like them as more than a friend and once they admit to me that they like me things always get weird between us........when they show me to much affection I push away (this has happened several times) is this normal.......my best friend thinks I'm weird she thinks I'm scared of boys is this true?

Trust me, I was the same as Mandy and there are lots of girls the same as us. Theres no rush, if being friends with guys is fine then just be friends with them, the rest will come naturally when you're ready. So just relax, you are not weird and there is nothing wrong with you! xxx

I was very much like this, I could be great mates with the guys at school but if they started asking me out as in OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Id be em! oh! ooohhhhhhhhhh! And thats it, Run a mile hunny...:} I just wasnt as interested in going out with them in that way at that time in my life.. It all changed belive me!!!!Its what you feel comfortable with, For the first few years of actually saying ok Id try my best to go out with someone who I really liked as a person and then Id change my mind and finish with them, ooooooh you have taken me right back! I feel sorry for some of them now :{ OH WELL!!!!They lived :} I didnt actually go out with someone who I didnt run a mile from untill I was 17.
