do you think i am right for dumping my long term partner over this? i hardly get to speak to friends as this guy is very paranoid and constantly thinks im up to something so i did everything to make him happy. once i done this we lived together without arguments and life was great. my friends birthday was last night and i stayed overnight at hers in a different town i had been planning this for a while and he seemed fine with me going as he had a friend up drinking i asked him to call at half 3 in the morning and it took him half an hour to do so. i knew something wasnt right as when he called he was wide awake. so i went home in the morning and he had been on a website called fling.com and had swapped numbers with a stranger and i found a text asking if he had changed his mind. all the messages he had sent and previously recieved had been deleted.i also discovered he had been in several porn sites and chat rooms. he admitted it and said he was just drunk and silly. i dont know if i am overreating or if i am right and he shouldnt have treated me like that so walk away?

The often say that it's the people who cheat who are the most paranoid.

I really think this guy is not right in the head if he hardly lets you out of his sight and then when you do get to go out he can only last a matter of hours before finding someone else.

I wouldn't have even stuck around this long. Any guy who doesn't like me having a social life is obviously not right in the head in my view.

You are very right in wanting something more from a partner.

Good Luck!! xx
