writes:okay, straight up I am 15 and really self conches about my vagina. iv talked to 2 a close friend about it and they describe there’s basically the same to each others, but mine isn’t the same. i have like 2 flaps of skin like around my vagina (really hard to explain it), as well as my like pee hole thing is like visible and it’s noticeable when I look at it. i am incredibly self conches when it comes to a guy talking to me about sex if I think they want to take the convo further. i am an ex virgin, well only had it once and in the dark and it was with a guy I don’t talk to any more, but the guy that i like atm has had sex before.. quite a bit and I so worried he is going to notice and be like what the?!? as well as having oral? like in the dark i’ll be sweet as, but doubt that’s going to happen every time. i know most people would be like dude get over it…the guy will like you for who you are ect. but really unless you know what i mean you wont get it. also when I start having to go for like smear test, or what ever they are called i cant help but thinking what happens if they haven’t seen anything like it and its abnormal? please help ae it sucks worrying so much, and I would love to know what guys think of this to!

If you are really concerned about it go and see the doctor he will set you straight. All Vagina's are completely different and you should not worry about it. There are a lot them with fat lips, thin lips, and lips that are not the same size as the other.
Anyway you are fine and practice safe sex please...... Std's will mess you up.

As for PAP smears, what they check for is inside your vagina (cells from your cervix) and is unrelated to looking at your external genitalia. They will be taking swabs from inside you, not outside.

Go and get yourself a biology book and have a look at the diagrams of female genitalia.
Every girl is different and I am absolutely sure you are completely normal.
Don't go looking for porn because they all have freakishly perfect vaginas that's why they are picked, men don't look at their faces. It will be like looking at a model to see if you are fat.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 October 2008): Well I have 2 flaps of skin round mine aswell and if your pee hole thingy is noticeable then that just means that your vagina is slighly larger thats all there is nothing whatso ever wrong with it i promise and if there is (there wont be) the smear thingy people will tell you if there really is something wrong with it.
