writes:Me and this guy, lets call him 'Richard' have sort of been flirting and stuff for a while.I've known him for about 5 years, but he's not that much of a good friend, just someone I know.At my friends party we were alone for about half an hour and talked about laods of stuff, we werent drunk, but we were drinking and later when we were both really quite drunk he was complimenting me loads and being really sweet, however the next day he said he didn't rememebr a thing.A few days later, when we were both sober, we were with osme other friends and he kept dort of flirting with my friend, but I'm not sure if he was or not.After a few months, my other friend had a party nd we were both quite drunk and walked home togther, about an hour or so and tlked and flirted the entire way, it was really nice and we got on really well.I haven't relly spoken to him since, but I would really llike to see him, I don't hve his number or anything, and I know if I were to like him it would be wierd as Ive known him for so long and he's not exactly 'cool' or oyfriend material.I'm really confused whether I like him, or he likes me, or if its all just friendly banter and fun for him.Also, he hasn't really had much expericne with girlfriends and stuff so I don't know whether he'll be reading into it as much as I am...

From personal experience of being a bloke and having a few beers, I wouldn't read too much into it. I'm not saying that I go around and flirt with every girl I meet, but, after a few drinks, people become more confident, and for me, when i'm talking to a girl, it comes across as flirting but really, i am just being polite, and perhaps over confident. You would definitely need to find out what this guy is like one to one, maybe go shopping or something. Also, don't be shy to ask him!

 You don`t know if he likes you.Your not sure if you like him.Until you figure out weather you like him or not there is really nothing to be done.If you do decide you like him talk to him and see how he feels.You might be reading more into this then there really is but until you talk to someone you never really know.
