I need help. I'm turning 21 soon and yes I am sexually active. We use condoms and I just had my period a week or two ago. Now, I don't think I'm pregnant but I'm reading articles about morning bloating and they all say it's an early sign of pregnancy and I'm really scared now.

This has only been happening for the past two or three weeks and it'll happen like 3-4 days a week. My diet consists of junk food, fast food, cup o noodles, easy mac, and orange juice (I don't really drink water). I thought it would be my diet that's doing this but now I'm scared because of what I read. Help me please! What do you think?

Do an otc pregnancy test to be sure and alter your diet. Drink more water, fruits/veggies, whole grains, lean meats if you eat meat and so on. Get some exercise and start on some good supplements like fish oils and b12. Refined sugars, junk foods(mostly sugar, fat and chemicals) and fried fats such as you're eating are the worst thing you can eat so you need to at least balance them out with healthier foods or eliminate them. You need omega 3's for your brain to function at optimum and to reduce inflammation which causes so many health issues including alzheimer's and heart disease:

The Mediterranean diet emphasizes foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, including whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, olive oil, garlic, as well as moderate wine consumption.

Basschick agony auntIt's your diet. But to be sure, spend $15 and go buy a home pregnancy test then you'll know for sure. And P.S. you should ditch the crappy diet. It will catch up to you very soon and be unhealthy.

person12345 agony auntHave you ever heard of medical student syndrome? That's much more likely what's going on than pregnancy. If you don't get your next period you can get a pregnancy test, but you normally can't test before then.

I have barely heard something a person can experience NOT listed as a possible first sign of pregnancy online, just like every physical ailment ever can somehow be linked to early signs of cancer. Basically any physical sensation that a person will normally feel just in their day to day life gets listed online especially in trying to conceive forums because basically, everyone feels them sometimes. Googling symptoms is just always a bad idea. It will inevitably lead you to pregnancy, cancer, or some other incredibly serious rare disease you don't have.

Just try to get some more fruits and veggies and generally fiber in your diet, cut WAY down on your salt intake and you will be fine.

Try to relax, you're almost certainly not pregnant. You wouldn't feel symptoms of pregnancy at only 1 week in!

Take a deep breath and calm down bloating is a symptom of pregnancy but its not the only one and just because your suffering bloating doent mean that your pregnant. Dont waste your money on pregnancy tests just yet because even if you are pregnant they wont show positive at the moment because its too early. Wait for your period and if it doesnt show up then get a test to find out. If your bloating is a sudden problem that wont go away then mayb you should get checked out at the doctor. Try not to worry too much. Xx

Honeypie agony auntBefore you totally FREAK out, go buy a pregnancy test, no one here can guess as to whether you are pregnant or not or if all the junk food you eat that affects your body.

Not drinking water can be a cause as well. GET your water in.

So buy a test, read the instruction and follow them.

Once you know if you are pregnant or not you can focus on what to do next.

Looks like your "diet" is seriously lacking fibers and decent nutrition.

KlassyKirsty agony auntDo not react prematurely to this, the bloating may be a post symptom of after having ur period, but it seems from ur case after a time interval of 2-3 weeks, so i suggest trying to vary ur diet with more fruit and vegetables, more fiber rich products such as pasta, wholemeal bread etc, and also dry increasing ur fluid intake, water helps. These more nutritious foods/supplements reduce bloating, this is just a trial and error, but if ur bloating symptoms wont go away, visit ur local GP :)

take care xx
