I took a pregnancy test today, just to be sure. It was negative, but I'm still wondering if there's a possibility that I'm pregnant. I know I'm probably not, but I'm good at being paranoid as hell.

See your doctor and speak to him, often if you are menstruating and pregnant, it can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy.
I understand that you don't know if you are pregnant or not yet, but it's really important to see a doctor ASAP, and find out. I had to resuscitate a girl who had an ectopic, so it really can be life threatening!

You totally CAN have your period and still be pregnant. It's not common, but it does happen. It can vary from light spotting, to actual menstruation.
If it was a few weeks after you had sex that you took the test, then I would think you're fine. Maybe take another, and if it's still on your mind, go see your doctor, just to be sure.

But (and I forgot to put this in the question) my lower abdomen seems to be a bit larger than normal. Not to the point where it's making my pants tight, or than anyone but me has noticed, but it's a bit larger.
