Am I overthinking or does it seem like he wants a child?

Okay do this is a tricky one and playing on my mined .... i have a daughter 2 yeard old and my partner has took her on as hes own he loves her to bits .... he is 24 years old abd verry mature we love eachother deaply and babys always come up in our daily topic .... we was drunk 1night and told eatchother we wanted a child so and he took the comdom off i dident remember the next morning when he mentioned about it but we then had the quistion am i pregnant witch im not but while we was quistioning this he said he wasnt botherd if i was as he wants to spend the rest of hes life with me and have children someday i also said the same since then we have been useing comdoms and im now going ahead to getthe implant but he is pointing out babyd all the time and always on the topic of pregnance asif it dosent leave hes head and when i mention getting the implant he says its the best thing todo but hes face says difrent and sometimes he just looks away when i mention the implant and protends he hasent herd me ..... i am open to haveing a child to him and i am ready when he is but i think i have put the wrong aprotch across to him insted of telling him i am ready when he is i asshumed he dident want a child and sugested the implant as a big got to so now im thinking hes wanting a child but dirt say as he thinks i dont ..... what should i do? I dirt be blunt and ask him now as i have an apoitment for the implant next week but i feel where both just going along with the implant idea for the benafit of what we think eatchother want and none of us acchuly wanting the implant in place ..... dose anyone think imjust overthinking or dose it seem like he wants a child??

Fari agony auntI think he wants a child. While he may love your little girl, he may want one of his own with his own flesh and blood. Especially if it is his first child.
