So hopefully someone can help me out..I've been doing alot of research but I'm running in circles. I'm on the Grapefruit Diet because I have a lot of weight to lose and that seems to be the key in my family...BUT I'm also taking YAZ-the new birth control pill. I'm starting to lose weight but I noticed that Grapefruit juice is listed on the "avoid" list for Yaz. Some sites tell me that its ok to eat grapefruit because it doesn't affect the "not getting pregnant" part of the pill...but other sites say it can... So which is it? Can I get pregnant now that I'm eating a ton of Grapefruit or am I still good? Please Help ASAP!!!

reader, anonymous, writes (26 May 2007): i dont know but I think consulnig your doctor could be the best thing. Tell him/her what you had found and are confused and if he/she could maybe help you out on which was true.
